Michael Trasso - American Partners Inc.

Infuriation: Lying about his recuiter and business experience, arrogant job-blocking

A rookie recruiter lying just like the worst of them made the Hall of Shame after less than two months in the workforce! Michael Trasso's ludicrous title is "BI/ERP Business Development Manager," which puts him in the ego-stroking position of recruiting and then MANAGING experienced professionals in business intelligence and enterprise resource planning (PeopleSoft, etc.) implementations.

Michael Trasso has no background even to comprehend what IS business intelligence, has almost certainly never even SEEN PeopleSoft, and certainly has never participated in any ERP engagement. In a badly spelled email, he claimed "about two years of IT recruiting experience." In the same email, Michael Trasso doubled down on his lie by claiming "I also am a sole proprietor and have owned my own business for five years." (He started college in 2008, immediately after high school graduation.) In his then-current LinkedIn profile, he titled himself a "Freelance Musician/Composer" since 2010. Perhaps this fueled his fantasy that he's a business owner. In reality for the rest of us, this lying poser was hired by American Partners Inc. two months before his college graduation in May 2013.

Bottom line: Mendacious Michael has never worked in ANY professional capacity. Know your audience if you're asked to submit an essay about yourself, writing for this lying gate-keeper with abysmal language skills and non-existent business skills. Further, Trasso proposes to solicit professional references in his mispelled, poorly laid out "buisness" emails.

Now you know whose ass applicants are expected to kiss. In fact, Michael needs some ego stroking, as witnessed by his mandate to chat on the phone so that he does not have to "scan a long resume" (two whole pages! with technical words!)

To add insult to injury (injury to otherwise-qualified candidates, injury to clients who expected professionalism throughout the process), Michal Trasso's LinkedIn profile claims both ethics and business ethics. Yes, Michael Trasso's LinkedIn profile has been snap-shotted with date/time stamp, and saved along with his emails.

Implementations of ERP in particular and business intelligence in general are among the business world's most complex projects, and competition for experienced professionals is fierce, yet this lying novice has been positioned by his firm for admission. That's what got his firm listed in the Hall of Shame, too. (see separate lising for "American Partners Inc.")
